Backend engineer with 3+ years of experience designing and owning production systems end-to-end. I currently build core backend infrastructure for MrMed, a specialty pharmacy platform serving 15,000+ medicines across oncology, nephrology, and cardiology — architecting microservices, search infrastructure, and concurrent systems on NestJS, MongoDB, Redis, and Kubernetes that hold up under real production load. My grounding in architecture and system design was shaped further as Co-founder & Tech Lead of a software consultancy, where every technical decision was mine to make and be accountable for. Bengaluru

Owns core backend architecture for a specialty pharmacy platform built on a NestJS/MongoDB/Redis microservices stack spanning order management, catalog, serviceability, and billing.

  • Architected the product search engine from scratch on MongoDB Atlas Search — a denormalized collection with a 16-clause weighted compound query (autocomplete, tiered boosts, fuzzy fallback) and a custom analyzer for typo-tolerant matching at scale.
  • Designed a gateway-agnostic payment integration layer (Adapter + Factory patterns) unifying Cashfree and PayU, with runtime gateway switching via MongoDB + Redis pub/sub — zero-downtime failover under load.
  • Built a shared-cookie JWT SSO identity service with RS256 signing, Redis-backed refresh/blacklist stores, and a parallel Bearer-token flow for mobile clients.
  • Engineered a concurrent media processing pipeline (BullMQ workers, ffmpeg, sharp, Cloudflare R2) for video/image ingestion, resolving race conditions in high-throughput bulk upload paths using atomic MongoDB operations.
  • Optimized SQS-based event consumers using long-polling, parallel workers, and batched processing.
  • Mitigated a production DDoS incident via Cloudflare WAF/Attack Mode; built a notification system on Observer/Strategy/Factory patterns and a Redis-backed feature flag system.

Co-founded and led engineering for a software consultancy, owning architecture, delivery, and technical decision-making across client projects.

  • Directed technical strategy and system design across e-commerce and social media React Native applications, including state management architecture (Redux) and performance optimization.
  • Owned end-to-end delivery on client engagements — architecture, cloud infrastructure (AWS S3/EC2), and hands-on development — accountable for outcomes as both founder and lead engineer.

  • Built the customer–adviser chat framework for an Apple internal support platform (Customer Solutions / AppleCare) and led migration of macOS applications from CoreData to SwiftData.
  • Developed accessibility-focused SwiftUI interfaces at enterprise scale, reinforcing a systems-level discipline around reliability and maintainability.
